Halloween is Bliss....

Last week my 3 year old niece Erica Elise stepped in my house - looked around, and loudly announced, "Aunt Lisa I LOVE your 'pooky house!"  Guess what - so do I.  Halloween is 2nd only to Christmas around here.  I have so many things that I have collected over the years - and I love all of it - so I put out all of it.  Uh huh...there is quite a bit.  But it is all so fun I can't pick my favorite..

Remember Trolls?  Jacey and Bryson
loved these when they were little.

There's the country look - I love all the grungy fun homespun.  Grungy fabrics and muted colors.  It all makes me smile.

I have this cool antique screen door
that I decorate for each season

If I had to choose a favorite it would definitely be the vintage stuff.  I love Bethany Lowe.  She is a designer that really gets the vintage look.  I would be her biggest fan - if I could afford to be.  I did make some stacking boxes on a pedestal inspired by her collections.  My "vintage look" bingo game is one of my favorites.  Oh - and the candy bowl and platter - and the stacking boxes.  See, I am a hopeless Halloween addict!

Mom, Jacey and I made the cool vintage blocks at a class at Heartland Paper company.
I love the apothecary jar full of Mary Jane peanut butter kisses.Mmmmm.

The topper on my vintage box.  Cute huh.

Several years ago I purchased a realllly ugly coat rack for $12.  It was faux oak - yummy (not).  I painted it black, distressed it, and sprayed it with purple glitter spray.  Now it is the perfect place to hang my cape and hat after a day of "witchy business".

I have collected a few fun witches over the years too.  I like "cute" witches.

Since I have had quite a bit of free time on my hands lately it has been fun to spend time crafting. Jacey and I have made quite a few fun things together.  We had to stop because her house is full. LOL

Luminaries from this website.
Look at that cute little Bryson.

Jacey was about 4 in this photo.
I miss the days when they were little.

Tried my hand at Subway Art.  It was really fun.

Star on my porch

Potion bottles.  Got the labels here
The bottles were from Hobby Lobby - of course.

Saw this little candy dish at Swiss Days for $12.
 Made my own for $3
This is one of my favorites.  It is from the same link as the luminaries above.

Thanks for dropping by to visit our "pooky" house.  Like I said, Halloween is my bliss - especially now that I don't have to make costumes anymore.  Happy Halloween everyone.
